Scarecrow Festival – Florida Pioneer Museum is Oct. 13, 2018 9am-5pm. Have tons of fun and build your very own scarecrow, paint a pumpkin, visit the petting zoo. *Build your own scarecrow ($5 while supplies last, you may bring your own clothes if you like), Scarecrow clothes provided by Hospice and Solutions Thrift Stores and other wonderful donors. (This is a fundraiser for Special Olympics and the museum.)
*Live entertainment with the Barking Dogs, Arts in Motion performance, a gymnastics performance, and Mr. Tommy (sponsored by San An Federal Credit Union). FREE
*Traditional Craft demonstrations FREE
*Touch – a – truck FREE *Barrel train rides FREE *Petting zoo sponsored by Blake Veterinarian FREE *Face painting FREE *Dade City Rocks – Rock Painting FREE
*Pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting (SMALL FEE), photo opportunities FREE
*Bounce house, slide *Indian Corn Maze FREE
*Carnival games with prizes (This is a fundraiser for Special Olympics and the museum.)
*Rock climbing $5
*Pony rides $5
*Great vendors & food trucks and special surprises!*Museum Concessions will have drinks for $1, hotdogs and pizza starting at $2. Boiled peanuts, corn-on-the-cob, and more.
*Some vendors have FREE give-away items while supplies last. *100 great vendors

*FREE Professional photos (children and families) by Christina Strong photography from 9-1, by the Overstreet House (Yellow, 2-story home). First come, first serve basis. Photos will be posted on Facebook the following week for guests to download for free.
*All museum buildings open, docents in period costumes
*Plenty of photo opportunities and our very own “live” scarecrow, Ruby Cornbread and our wonderfully decorated hay rolls.

*There is also FREE remote parking at the Robert Sumner Judicial Courthouse 38053 Live Oak Avenue, Dade City. Bus transportation to and from the event. You will be dropped off and picked up right at the gate of the event.
