Florida Moose -New Port Richey for Moose Monday. I know you’re all wondering what is Moose Monday? It’s a group I used to belong to on ActiveRain. Craig and I were driving home to New Port Richey from an Arts & Crafts Festival in Palm Harbor; we were doing about 50 when I spotted this guy.
I’m always on the lookout for moose because they are rare in Florida, I told him to turn around and go back. My ever-patient husband who puts up with my photo and blog craziness did just that. So, I’m sharing him (the moose-not Craig) with all of you. I think you’ll agree that he is a handsome and happy looking moose.

Finally, after we took these pictures, I spotted a deer statue. Craig told me he wasn’t going to stop because we already did better than that and got us a moose :). I know he’s a real moose because it says so just above his head. PS: we stopped and got the deer too. It was a good hunting day. 😀
You might want to take a look at Gracewood in River Ridge.
